Study of the U.S. Institutes Program, 2020-2021
The SUSI program welcomes 120 foreign university students from approximately 26 countries annually to the U.S. for a 5-week Academic Institute, co-hosted with five university partners. Participants engage in in-depth residencies and case studies looking at a variety of topics, including: Religious Freedom and Pluralism; Rule of Law and Public Service; Civic Engagement; Entrepreneurship and Economic Development; and Education and the Future of Work. SEG with its partner Cultural Crossings developed and implemented an evaluation plan that included surveys of two SUSI cohorts and interviews with partners and participants to report against key outcomes as set out in the program's monitoring and evaluation framework. This program is supported by the Department of State.
