Marquita Hockaday


Research Associate

Marquita Hockaday holds a PhD in Curriculum Leadership from the Educational Policy, Planning and Leadership program at the College of William and Mary. She also holds masters degrees in Reading and Creative Writing, and a Bachelor of Education in History. in addition to her work as an  adjunct lecturer in higher education, she worked as a secondary social studies and English teacher for over eight years in various settings, a K-12 social studies instructional specialist, a university supervisor of preservice teachers, and a freelance curriculum writer. Dr. Hockaday uses mixed methods in educational research, bringing expertise in narrative research analysis and survey development.
